Jhaapto.

Identify this person, who, during his time, was responsible for the migration of over 300,000 people. Its often said that an equal number came from both the sea and land from all over the world.

Hint:
Something done on A in B which can have some issues with C. Let that be D. Something that can be said to be the influencing factor for D is E. The background of the main protagonist of E is a very heavy hint for the above person. Identify him.

A

B

C

Completely correct answer given by Kaushik. Quoting him:

"A - Johnny Walker
B - CID
Here CID is the movie, and Johnny walker is Badruddin, who sings - "Yeh hain Bambai Meri Jaan" (D). Bambai can offend (C), Raj Thackrey. Now the song is heavily inspired by the American Ballad "Oh My Darling, Clementine" from the movie "My Darling Clementine"(E), which is based on the California Gold Rush, which in turn, was started by James W. Marshall, the old man in the pic."

(E) was actually intended to be "Oh My Darling, Clementine" only because the protagonist, Clementine, (as stated in the 3rd line of the ballad) is the daughter of a miner, 49er. 49er is a term given specifically to the miners of the California Gold Rush.

Also a rather lame hint was the title of the post. According to Google Translation, Rush when translated to hindi means 'jhaapto'. =P

And Kaushik, thank you for the glowing remarks on the question.
